Education
I am Senior at Michigan State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Experience Architecture, with a completed minor in Graphic Design!​
Experience Architecture is an interdisciplinary major focused on the many facets of user experience, including UX research, design, accessibility, professional writing, leadership, and emerging technologies like AI. The title "Experience Architecture" reflects the program’s emphasis on equipping students with the ability to strategically "architect" both digital and physical experiences.

Intercultural Aide

As an Intercultural Aid, I am an advocate for DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) practices, ensuring all voices are heard. It is one way MSU is working towards building a diverse, innovative, and inclusive environment for students.
I work in a team of 5 to successfully organize and facilitate bi-weekly discussions about various different social topics. By doing so, we raise students' critical consciousness about the world and the different groups of people living in it.
Undergraduate Learning Assistant

This semester, I have been working as an undergraduate learning assistant for an information architecture course at Michigan State University!
This job has been an interesting challenge, as I tried new things like teaching the class research methods and creating an accessible classroom environment for virtual students.
UX/UI Designer
Earlier this year I worked for MSU's archaeological department as a UX/UI designer. I was tasked with using Omeka-S to create an online catalogue of ancient Isthmian coins.
I learned a lot about tagging meta-data, website structure, and how to communicate the ux process/progress to stakeholders who need to be kept in the loop.
Social Media and Lead Design
The Iraqi American Union (IAU) at MSU is dedicated to celebrating and sharing Iraqi culture with the campus community. I’ve proudly served on the executive board for two years, currently as the organization’s Social Media Manager and Lead Designer, where I create Instagram content, flyers, merchandise, and more.
During my time with the IAU, I’ve contributed to the planning and execution of numerous successful events, including potlucks, an Iraqi Independence Day celebration, game nights, and collaborations with other on- and off-campus organizations.

Redbubble has been an incredible platform for me to share my passion for digital art and turn my designs into products that people love. On the platform, I showcase my work as designs for stickers, water bottles, bags, and other merchandise. Since I started posting, my digital sticker designs have gained significant traction, resulting in hundreds of sales.
This experience has not only allowed me to connect with a global audience but has also taught me valuable lessons about market trends, customer preferences, and the importance of creating designs that resonate with people. Seeing my art appreciated in such a tangible way has been both rewarding and inspiring!
